Editing Obstacles

I have the worst luck in Premiere LOL! It didn't work for a couple reasons:

1) My videos wouldn't export correctly
2) The way I filmed the videos didn't properly fit the frame
3) My laptop isn't suitable for Premiere

Of course, I go to my friends for input on what's wrong but even then they couldn't fix it! What I did to try to import the media was to download them from Google Photos onto my desktop and then select the clips from there. But, there were no where to be seen once I went to locate the files through Premiere.  I met with Mia today so she could help and she suggested buying a flash drive to resolve the importing issue that I had.

This was the flash drive I bought... I spent 30 dollars only to find out I didn't need it in the end :|

I was running out of time so I switched ideas and asked my cousin for his laptop because I wanted to use iMovie and his laptop is a Mac! He let me borrow it and it worked perfectly!!! It's a lot easier to edit on, in my opinion, and all I really have to do is put clips by each other and cut parts off. It's going really well!

Final Song!

Sadly enough, no one replied to any of my messages...

I had to result to YouTube Audio Library!

I went through about 5 or 6 pages just listening to each song. It was so hard to choose one because I didn't think any fit. I tried my hardest to find one that matched what I was going for best and this was the one that worked well enough:

I'm almost done editing my film opening as I only have to make a couple tweaks here and there. There were a lot of fast beats in the song so I thought I should make the opening more attention grabbing by inserting a lot of quick clips when the beat changed/dropped.

I did some research on target audience's attention span, and based on a couple articles, attention spans have reduced over the years as technology has become more integrated in our every day life. Inserting fast clips keeps the audience engaged and aware.
