I’m back! Here to document my planning for the portfolio project! Planning is vital, as one may so obviously know, so, I decided to write out a potential schedule that I’ll follow here! From previous projects, like the foley and music video project, I learned that film takes time…. a lot of time. The effort, consistency, time, and will that one must put towards filming something is grand. Like I’ve stated before, this class has given me my first projects that I am, genuinely, beyond excited to accomplish. Soon, I’ll storyboard and be ready to capture the image that lies in my head.
Brainless Babe requires a main model, makeup artists, hairstylists, a school, and photographers. At first, I thought of filming an actual shoot that I’ll be at, March 6-9. But I realized that may be a little overwhelming for the people on set because that whole trip, which I’ll be out of town for, I’ll be modeling from dawn to dusk since I need a lot of looks in just two full days.
Since all problems have a solution, I figured out a better idea to film the opening. I just recently had a photoshoot at the studio I always go to; Face2Face. I decided that it’d be more ideal, and more relaxing, if I were to rent out the studio for a couple hours and have some of my friends be the extras that I need. They were all okay with helping me out that day! So, the weekend after I come back, I’ll rent the studio and we get to filming so I have enough time to edit it well!
For now, I’ll continue blogging four times a week to develop ideas for the film opening. See you next week!
Stay cool,
Isabella
